Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home for William Perry Jones, 87, of Prentiss, who died March 16, 2009, at Jefferson Davis Extended Care Facility in Prentiss.
Burial will be in Dublin Cemetery.
Mr. Jones owned an auto repair shop for over 40 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II, having received the Purple Heart medal. He was a Gideon and member of Dublin Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Jones; and his parents, Robert and Josephine King Jones.
Survivors include a son, Marcel Jones of Prentiss; a brother, Johan Ray Jones of Vicksburg; a sister, Creula Parker of Gulfport; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
