Daughter of Lemon W and Sarah Elizabeth Newsom Taylor
Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Taylor Cook 79,were held at ten-thirty Tuesday morning from the Improve Baptist Church.
Dr. Wyatt Hunter, pastor of the First Baptist Church of McComb, the
Rev. L.C. Holcomb, Improve pastor, the Rev. Curtis Miller, pastor of Tylertown Methodist Church all took part in the last rites.
Interment was in Improve cemetery under direction of Colonial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cook died at 1:10 A.M. Monday at the home of her daughter Mrs.
G.A. Rowley in McComb where she had resided for the past ten years
after her health failed. She had been quite ill for several months
prior to her death.
