Funeral services were held Sunday 2P.M. from Emmanuel Baptist church for Mrs. Alcus Prine,45, of Hattiesburg with Rev. B.Alfred Jones, officiating and the Rev. John Gardner, pastor of Good Hope Baptist church assisting. Burial was in Emmanuel cemetery with pallbearers, Louis Pace, Hugh Pace, Carley Pace, Jr Winfred Pierce, all cousins and Laverne Broom and B. L. Norton. Mrs. Prine died at 5:30 A. M. Friday, unexpectedly, in Hattiesburg. She was born October 1,1921 at Improve this county, Ethel Boleware, daughter of Warren G. and Anna Pace Boleware. She was reared at Improve and attended Improve school. She was a resident of Columbia for many years and had for the past four years, made her home in Hattiesburg. Surviving are her husband, of Hattiesburg: Mrs. Louise Shoemake of Columbia, and Mrs. Thelma Locke, Eva Pearl Prine, Patricia Ann Prine and Melinda Jane Prine all of Hattiesburg. Two sons Billy Wayne and Terry Prine of Hattiesburg: her mother Mrs. Anna Boleware of Columbia: two sisters Mrs. Lavelle Broom of Columbia and Mrs. Edna Mae Grimes of New Orleans, one brother Floyd Boleware of Columbia and two grandchildren. Three children preceded her in death, an infant daughter, a son Ralph Eugene Prine in 1959 and Miss Betty Jane Williamson, who died in 1967
