1872 - July 26, 1946
Wife of William Oscar Butler
Mrs. W. O. Butler died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Irene Butler Ramey in Hattiesburg on July 26th after having been in ill health for some time.
Mrs. Butler was 74 years of age and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She was a good woman and leaves many friends who mourn her passing.
Funeral services were held from Bethany Church with Dr. W. L. Sewell officiating. Interment was made in the Church Cemetery.
Immediate survivors are five sons, Lee Butler, Jackson; Frank and Oscar Butler, Prentiss; Longie and Lowery Butler, Philadelphia, Pa.; and one daughter, Mrs. Irene Butler Ramey of Hattiesburg.
