Bessie Kelly Delcambre, 85 and a resident of Pass Christian, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2008, in Gulfport. Mrs. Delcambre is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Johnson and Charlie Kelly; her daughter, Mary Mason; siblings, Jesse, Marion, Preston, Jewel, Marie, and Charles Kelly. Survivors include her children, Matthew Billy Mason and his wife Tanya of Marrero, LA, Harvey Floyd Garlotte and his wife Shelly of Baton Rouge, LA, Debbie Taylor of Long Beach, and Angela Chasteen of TX; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family requests that all flowers be sent to Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia, MS for the services there. A special thanks to the staff of Memorial Hospital of Gulfport, standouts being, Philip and Charli, the Memorial Hospice staff, the wonderful staff of Deaconess Home Health of South Mississippi, and her longtime friend and physician Dr. Halvor Hem of Long Beach, MS. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Hwy 49, Gulfport, MS. Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia Miss. with burial in Emmanuel Cemetery.
