Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 from Saulters Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Josie Miller, 95, who died suddenly Monday at noon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Vera Smith, with whom she had resided for the past 16 years. Rev. Frank Lay, pastor of Oak Grove Baptist Church, officiated. Interment followed in the Bethany Cemetery with Saulters Funeral Home in charge.
Grandsons served as Pall bearers.
Mrs. Miller was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She had enjoyed good health and her death came suddenly and unexpectedly.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Vera Smith and Mrs. Nannie Smith of Prentiss, nine grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Her husband, the late Tom Miller, preceded her in death in the early thirties and a son, Frank Miller, died in 1945.
