James Henry Pollard, 95, of Bay St. Louis, died Friday, April 24, 1998, in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Pollard was a retired school teacher and a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Bay St. Louis. He was a teacher at George Washington Carver High School in Picayune.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and de MonSella Pollard; and a brother, Kenneth Pollard.
Survivors include his wife, Ada Pollard of Bay St. Louis and a daughter, Mildred Howard of Nairovi, Kenya; a son Erland Pollard of Pearlington; a sister, Mildred Gaines of Detroit, Mich.; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Saturday 10-11 a.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church in Bay St. Louis. Burial will be in Cedar Rest Cemetery in Bay St. Louis.
Baylous Funeral Home in Picayune is in charge of arrangements.
