Patricia Ann “Pat” Beard, 72, of Vicksburg, died Dec. 30, 2015, at her home.
She was a registered nurse, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg and is survived by two sons, Melvin and David Beard; two sisters, Jeanette McCurley and Evonne Stansel; one brother, Charles Humpries; six grandchildren, Christopher Beard Sr., Brandon Beard, Johnathan Beard, Justin Beard, Shelby Beard Birdsong and Lauren Beard.
Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at the Glenwood Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Monday from noon until the hour of service. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Beard Sr., Johnathan Beard, Brandon Beard, Justin Beard, Ken Whittington and David Foster. The Rev. Tony Winkler will be conducting the service under the direction of Glenwood funeral Home.
