Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Improve Baptist Church for Howard C. Burt, 93, of Columbia, who died Jan. 28, 2008, at Marion General Hospital.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Burt was a retired construction worker and a member of Improve Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Sumrall Burt; and a daughter, Linda Burt Watts.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Burt of Columbia and Gene Burt of Marietta, Ga.; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. today at Improve Baptist Church for Roberta Sumrall Burt, 83, of Columbia, who died July 30, 2003, at The Grove Nursing Home.
Burial will be in Improve Cemetery.
Mrs. Burt retired from Pioneer Acrodynamics. She was a member of Improve Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviors include her husband, Howard C. Burt of Columbia; two sons, Jerry Burt of Columbia and Gene Burt of Marietta, Ga.; a daughter, Linda Watts of Columbia; a sister, Billie Willis of Sumrall; a brother, Bryam Sumrall of Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Colonial Funeral Home of Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
Roberta was the daughter of George Adoloph and Audrey Sumrall.
