Wife of Stanley Virgil Broom
Daughter of James H and Tiny Hutson
Services are 2 p.m. today at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia for Gloria Broom, 65, of Pearl, who died Aug. 12, 2009, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.
Burial is in Improve Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Broom was self employed.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Tiny Hutson.
Survivors include her husband, Virgil Broom of Pearl; her father, James H. "Buzzy" Hutson of Columbia; two daughters, Madora "Dody" Belt, and Amanda Rhodes, both of Brandon; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is noon today at the funeral home.
