Mrs. Deana Lee, school teacher of the Henleyfield community, died in the Baptist hospital in New Orleans at 2 p.m. March 19, where she had been a patient for nine days.
Funeral services were held in the Henleyfield Baptist church Friday afternoon, with Dr. O. P. Estes, pastor of the First Baptist church, Picayune, conducting the rites.
Interment was in the Henleyfield cemetery. Pall bearers were Albert Prince, Roy Ray, Wellmon Mitchell, Lloyd Wise, Carl Wilson and Melvin Seal.
Mrs. Lee leaves her husband, James Clarence Lee; four children, Otis B. Lee, Vernon Lee, Lillian Lee, Emelda Lee, all of Henleyfield; and one sister, Mrs. Jaux Aebli, Jackson.
