Services for Ada Mae Harris will be Thursday at Zion Traveler's M. B. Church at 11 a.m., with Rev. Dr. Casey D. Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery with W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel.

Mrs. Harris died Saturday, Dec. 29 at River Region Medical Center following a brief illness. She was 67.

Harris was retired after more than 40 years in the medical field and was a past employee of the year for the Vicksburg Medical Center. She was member of Bright Morning Star M. B. Church where she also served in the Kitchen Ministry. She was also an active parent in Vicksburg Public Schools.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Harris Sr.; her parents, Wash and Annnie Mae Dorsey Sr.; and her brothers, Jimmy Dorsey and Charles Dorsey.

Survivors include five sons, Elder Arthur Harris Jr. of Lawrenceville, Ga., Malcom Harris and Shawn B. Dorsey, both of Vicksburg, Rev. Reggie Harris of Bolton, and Andre Dukes of Jackson; two daughters, Carolyn H. Brown and Denise H. Edwards, both of Vicksburg; four brothers, Wash Dorsey Jr. and Eddie Dorsey, both of Vicksburg, Johnny Dorsey of Clarksdale, Tenn., and Bobby Dorsey of Texarkana, Texas; a sister, Freddie B. Brown, of Texarkana, 19 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and others.
