Mary Lou Cucullu was born in New Orleans on March 9, 1934, at Charity Hospital. Her parents were Herbert Morgan, Sr. and Theresa Williams Morgan of New Orleans. Mary Lou was the third oldest of six children, Herbert Jr., Joyce, Mary Lou, Raymond, George, and Marie.
Mary Lou attended grammar school at St. Mary of the Angels and Washington public school, and high school at Nicholls. Mary Lou married Lynn Joseph Cucullu on May 23, 1953, at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. Mary Lou and Lynn raised four children, Glen, Anita, Becky, and Dale. Mary Lou was active in the Pines Village Garden Club and was well known for the beautiful orchid corsages she provided for local kids attending their proms. Mary Lou Cucullu passed away on August 12, 2016, at the age of 83.
She is survived by her spouse of 63 years, Lynn Cucullu, her four children and their spouses, and grandchildren. A memorial service will be held by the family at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1000 Goodyear Blvd, Picayune, MS 39466, on Saturday, August 20, 2016. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a Mass following at 11:00 a.m. PLEASE DELIVER ALL FLOWERS TO ST.
