She was 79, a homemaker and resident of Tylertown.
She was born Feb. 17, 1925, in Arnaudville, the daughter of the late Joseph Clement and Angelia Creadairie Artigue.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Jesse Fisher; a grandson, Joseph Olide Fisher; and two brothers, Lawrence and Joseph Clement Artigue Jr.
Mrs. Baughtman is survived by her husband, Narie Baughtman of Tylertown; two sons and their wives, Olide and Donna Fisher of Walker and Vandrus and Laura Fisher of Tylertown; a daughter and her husband, Angelle and Stanley McDaniel of Tylertown; two brothers, Doris Artigue and Clarence Artigue, both of Port Barre; a sister, Mrs. Barney Lee of Prairieville; 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
