Leo D. Alexander, 75, of Tylertown, died Nov. 21, 2005, at his residence.
Visitation is 3 to 9 tonight at Capps Funeral Home in Tylertown. Visitation continues at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Union Baptist Church until services there at 2 p.m. The Rev. Millard Moak and the Rev. Douglas Lee will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Alexander was born July 15, 1930, in Walthall County. He was the son of Quilla Alexander and Eva Brister Alexander.
He was a general contractor and a member of Union Baptist Church.
Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Buford, Carl and Everette Alexander.
Survivors include his wife, Mavis Rushing Alexander of Tylertown; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Randy and Billy Ann Alexander, and Terry Alexander, all of Tylertown; three grandchildren, Courtney Fortenberry, Kasey Broussard and Tristen Alexander, all of Tylertown; three great-grandchildren, Grant Alexander, Kristen Fortenberry and Alysa Broussard, all of Tylertown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jerry McElveen, Raymond Rushing, Mark Boyd, Everett McElveen, Basil Alexander Jr. and Bradley Rushing. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Moak, Steve Breaux, Marion McKenzie, Madison Brumfield, Louie Fortenberry and Roland Brumfield.
