Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 18, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Colonial Funeral Home for Mrs. Vera Beatrice Blair, 63, of Columbia who died Saturday, January 15, at Wesley Medical Center. Interment will be in the Good Hope Cemetery. Rev. Ken Stover and Rev. A.D. Gammil will officiate at the services. Visitation will be held Monday, January 17, from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. A native of Marion County, she was a homemaker and a member of Cornerstone Community Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Columbus and Ruby Townsend Delancey; son, Lance Blair; and brother, Gene Delancey. Survivors include her husband, Virgil Blair of Columbia; two sons, Michael Blair (Dorita) of Columbia and James Trey Bryant (Melissa) of Pinola; one sister, Vondell Wesley (Jimmy) of Columbia; six grandchildren; and a host of friends and family. Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
