Mrs. Evan L. Wilson died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. She was 90.

Born in Houston, Texas, Mrs. Wilson was the daughter of the late Charles Beard and Elizabeth Robinson Beard. She had been a resident of Vicksburg most of her life. She was a registered lab technician at Vicksburg Infirmary for a number of years and was later employed by TG&Y in the fabric department.

Mrs. Wilson was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Lorraine W. Greaves (Guy) of Mill Spring, N.C.; three sons, Raymond O. Wilson Jr., Dr. Joseph L. Wilson (Lesa) and Donald C. Wilson, all of Vicksburg; four grandchildren, Raymond Bradley Wilson, Christopher Patrick Wilson, Jesse Lee Holder and Michael Cole Wilson; and three great-grandchildren, Caden Holder, Abbie Holder and Addilyn Love Wilson.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Ogden Wilson Sr.; and two sisters, Frae Beard and Annie Laurie Reed.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Dr. Matt Buckles, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Visitation will be at Riles Funeral Home from 1 p.m. Wednesday until the service.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Bradley Wilson, Christopher Patrick Wilson, Jesse Lee Holder, Michael Cole Wilson, James Rone and Joe Brown.
