Joby Keith Bennett, 19, of Pearlington, MS, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bubba Sr. and Myra Bennett, and his uncle, John Bennett.
Survivors include his parents, Bubba and Pam Bennett of Pearlington, MS; siblings, Courtney (Anthony) Jordan of Kiln, MS and Kayla Chladek of Picayune, MS; grandparents, Hermon and LeAyn Lambert of Pearlington, MS, and Sue (Jim) Rabalais of Slidell, LA.; aunts and uncles, Debbie (Shane) Martin of Pass Christian, MS., Carol (Donald) Hodges of Gulfport, MS, Wayne (Bobbie) Lambert of Haslet, TX, and Linda Bennett of Bush, LA., and Mike Bennett of Picayune, MS; nieces and nephews Emersyn Jordan of Kiln, MS and Lilie and Landon Chlandek of Picayune, MS, first cousins, Joshua Lambert of Haslet, TX, Samantha Breazeale of Kiln, MS, Kirstie Anderson of Kiln, MS, Shane Bennett of Bush, LA, Mandy Sanders of Bush, LA, John Bennett, Jr. of Bay St. Louis, MS, Angela Bennett of Slidell, LA, Paul Bennett of Virginia, Steven Bennett and Julie Bennett.
Joby graduated from Hancock High School in 2015, and is a former employee of Jindal Tubular. He loved fishing, hunting, kayaking, four-wheeling, boating, hanging out with friends, working on his Dodge truck, spending time with his niece, listening to George Jones, building bonfires, and running dogs.
Joby was a loving son, brother, uncle and grandchild. He was a helping hand to all and a hero in the end.
Special thanks to all the first responders, and the overwhelming support of love of friends and family.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, from 6 pm – 11pm at First Southern Baptist Church in Pearlington, MS. A Celebration of Joby's life will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at 10am at the church, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Kiln DeLisle Road, is in charge of arrangements and an online guestbook may be signed at www.riemannfamily.com.
