Terryl Michael Ladner, 70, of Bay St. Louis, MS passed away on Monday, June 25, 2012 in Gulfport, MS. He was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis and a Veteran having served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He graduated from St. Stanislaus in 1960 and was a member of the St. Stanislaus Alumni. His father owned Ladner Seafood on Hancock St. and Terryl worked with him and became owner of it and was the owner of Terry's Seafood & Ice in Bayou Caddy until Hurricane Katrina. He was a wonderful, loving husband, father, brother & grandfather who will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd & Mary Ladner, Sr. & 2 brothers, Robert Ladner & John Ladner.
He is survived by his wife & best friend of 51 years, Myrna Ladner of Bay St. Louis, MS; his 4 sons & their spouses, Keath Ladner & LaSharon of Bay St. Louis, MS, Kirk Ladner & Kristine of Diamondhead, MS, Kevin Ladner of Pass Christian, MS and Kelly Ladner & Pepper of Bay St. Louis, MS; brother, Lloyd Ladner, Jr. of Diamondhead, MS; sister, Sylvia Tenant of Miami, TX; 12 grandchildren, Tiffany LeNain, Heath Ladner, Jennifer LeNain, Ashley, Alycia Ladner, Kirsten Hess & husband, Brandon, Katelyn, Hailee, Devon, Nathan, Angelina & Preston Ladner; 2 great-grandchildren, Harlen Ladner & Parker Hess; numerous nieces & nephews.
The visitation will be on Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, MS. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon. Intombment will follow in Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery & Mausoleum in Bay St. Louis, MS.
In Lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be made in Terryl's name to St. Jude's Children Research, 332 North Lauderdale, Memphis, TN 38105.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of the arrangements.
