Funeral services for Rosa Mae Crawford will be Saturday, June 3, at 11 a.m. at Porter’s Chapel M. B. Church with the Rev. Adrian Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Porter’s Chapel Cemetery with W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home in charge.
There will be a visitation Friday at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m.
Ms. Crawford passed away May 29 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was 84.
She worked as a caregiver CNA and was a member of the Porter’s Chapel M. B. Church where she was also a mother of the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Asberry and Pearleatha Jones Brown.
She is survived by her five sons, Mack Henry Crawford of Jackson, Pollis Crawford III of Vicksburg, Jack Crawford of Vicksburg, Johnny Earl Crawford of Milwaukee and DeWayne Asberry Crawford of Charlotte, NC.; her two daughters, Terry Ann Crawford and Mary Annice Crawford-Smith both of Vicksburg, 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and others.
