Husband of Bernice Broom Bell
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Colonial Funeral Home for Joe Lowell Bell, 82, of Slidell, La., a native of Columbia, who died Feb. 20, 2008 in Slidell.
Burial will be in Improve Cemetery.
Mr. Bell was a retired employee of American Standard Co. and a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Bell; and a grandson, Rudy Curich.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Broom Bell of Slidell; a daughter, Fay Curich of Slidell; two sons, Donald Bell of Slidell and Wayne Bell of San Diego; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 11:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
