Alexxis De’Shay Williams died Tuesday, May 10, 2016. She was 18.
Ms. Williams was born in Vicksburg to Maurice Phelps Williams and Melita Renee Jordan Williams. She was a senior at Warren Central High School and worked at Sonic Drive-In on 61 Bypass. She was a member of Cool Spring Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Herbert Lee Phelps, Eddie “Soul” Washington and Burnell “Lance” Davis; and her grandmother, Claudette “Bunky” Davis.
Survivors include by her parents, Maurice Phelps Williams and Melita Renee Jordan Williams; a sister, Jordan La”Shay Williams; grandmother, Willie Mae Jordan Brown; grandfather, Wesley Curtis “Badboy” Brown Sr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016, at the Vicksburg Auditorium. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 1 to 7 p.m., with family present from 6 to 7 p.m., and on Saturday at the auditorium from 10 a.m. until the service.
