September 30, 1939 - June 22, 2015
Hunter Charles France, 75, of Waveland, MS passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 in Gulfport, MS.
Mr. France was a resident of Waveland for the past 40 years, a member of St. Clare Catholic Church, served in the United States Marine Corps, and also worked in the Hancock County Library System. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be sadly missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hunter & Thelma France.
Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Gail Howell France of Waveland, MS; three sons, Mark France of Huntington Beach, CA; Glenn France (Melanie) of Bentonville, AR; Kenneth France of Waveland, MS; daughter, Cynthia Russell (Gibby) also of Waveland, MS; and nine grandchildren, Christopher, Carlton, Marcelo, Adrienne, Bibi, Hunter, Jackie, Leandro, and Parker.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday, June 27, 2015 at St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland. The family will receive guest from 9:00 am until 11:00 am with a Memorial Mass at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Waveland Cemetery with Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the St. Clare Catholic Church Building Fund.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
