John Wadell and Lovie Stockard LeSueur are the founders of the LeSueur Family Cemetery. This land was owned by Lovie Stockard LeSueur; it was deeded to her by her husband, John Wadell LeSueur. This land was the site of the St. Nazareth Church of which John Wadell LeSueur was the pastor. My uncle was the assistant pastor. In 1962, the death of John and Lovie's six-year-old son, Lynn Lee LeSueur prompted the start of the cemetery. St. Nazareth Church closed in the 1980s; however, the land remained a family cemetery. The cemetery will be officially named after our parents.

At the intersection of MS-311 S & Landfill Rd (Bypass) on the NW side of Holly Springs the cemetery is to the NW from the stop sign on MS-311 about 200 ft., close to the clump of trees. This was the historical site of the St. Nazareth Church, an early African American church, long before the bypass road was constructed. Assumed that Elder Jeremiah LeSueur may have had an association with it.
