Funeral services were held Friday, January 29, 2010 at Bethany Baptist Church in Prentiss for Harold Lavelle Myers, 74, who died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the Community Specialty Hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana. Interment followed in Bethany Cemetery. Rev. L.C. Anthony and Rev. Larry Joe Thompson officiated. Saulters-Moore Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 31, 2011 at Bethany Baptist Church in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Sarah M. Myers, age 77, of Monticello, MS who passed away on October 29, 2011 at Lawrence County Medical Center in Monticello, MS. Interment followed at Bethany Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements.

Rev. Andy Fullington officiated. Pall bearers were Nathan Ervin, William Ervin, Chase Ballard, Charles Sandifer, Jimmy Myers and Delane Ervin.

Sarah Martha Myers was born in Silver Creek, MS on November 12, 1933. She was the daughter of Homer Hedgepeth and Eloise Daniels Hedgepeth. She worked with KLH Industries at the Prentiss Complex. She was also a nursery worker and a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Ervin of Monticello, MS; her sons, David Bullard of Brookhaven, MS and Reggie Myers of Prentiss, MS; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Evelyn Jones of Ridgeland, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold Myers, her brother, Wayne Hedgepeth and a sister, Hazel Letchworth.
